We are currently investigating four main areas of research:

1. The long and short term effects of pregnancy and mothering on memory and neuroplasticity;
2. Estradiol and estrone’s effects on learning and memory and relation to neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus;
3. Preclinical models of postpartum depression;
4. Sex differences in behavioural and neural consequences of stress.
