We are happy to share that Dr. Liisa Galea has been appointed as the inaugural Treliving Chair in Women’s Mental Health at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, ON. Dr. Galea will also serve in a leadership role to womenmind, ‘a community of philanthropists committed to closing the gender gap in mental health. The womenmind community exists to put the unique needs and experiences of women at the forefront of mental health research and care – prioritizing the narratives, bodies and minds of women.’
Although Dr. Galea will be moving on from her role at the University of British Columbia, she will continue to lead the Women’s Health Research Cluster.
