We are currently investigating four main areas of research: the long and short term effects of pregnancy and mothering on memory and neuroplasticity, estradiol and estrone’s effects on learning and memory and relation to neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus; preclinical models of postpartum depression and sex differences in behavioural and neural consequences of stress.
